What is the stuff in UFC?

what is the stuff the trainers wipe over the fighters eyes and on the face before they fight..does it num up the face or anythign like that.

Vasoline. It prevents, or well, TRYS to help to prevent from splitting the face open/getting cut, or in some cases, if you already have some cuts or openings, it helps to prevent it from furthering the wound to become worse.

In the Ufc its not vaseline or petroleum jelly. It is however an extremely close composite to bothe. It a special synthetic approved by the UFC that allows, like the other answerrs said, a degree of stretching.

I boxed for 8 years, its like vasaline but it helps when your opp. hits you to slid the fist off the face to help in preventing cuts
