In the game 'the force unleashed', the apprentice holds his saber backhand (or backwords, depending how intelligent you are). I have also seen this style used by a character in prince of persia. Is there a particular name for this style?

  1. Pure ownage

  2. There is relay no defense in the style. It is more of a running attacking style. It could just be the way Darth Vader taught him. His first Padawan, Ahoska Tano, holds her light saber the same way. It just might be a way to remember her by.

  3. I don't think there is, seeing as if it was used with a physical sword it would be hard to get enough force into the sword to cut through anything so it probably wasn't used much in the days of swordsmen, but obviously, this problem is nonexistent with a lightsaber.

If there is a name a good place to look would be the new star wars movie "the clone wars" as the apprentice (different one) holds her lightsaber the same way.
