Depends on what part of the world you live in.

If you're a fundamental Islamist living in Pakistan, your answer would be: Current total population minus all unbelievers.

If you're an American, your answer could be: Current total population minus all Islamists.

As far as realistically answering your question, nobody knows. Your first step is to define 'suitable.' Not an easy task. Anyone who says who knows is talking out of their behind.

"Overpopulation" is one of my pet peeves. There's plenty of room for everybody.

And if you think it's too crowded, it's your duty to volunteer, isn't it?
