What is the surprise?!?

My husband has a surprise planned for our 5th wedding anniversary. He keeps emailing me hints, but I can't figure it out. Here they are :

1) Crosses (as in x marks the spot)

2) Stella!

3) 1927

He also says I need to bring clothing and a toothbrush, so that leads me to believe we'll be away for the weekend. And our 2 year old won't be with us! Any ideas????

Based on the clues, I would guess that you are heading to New Orleans for the weekend.  "Stella" seems the strongest clue to me, and points to Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire.  I believe New Orleans is connected to p****y and treasure.  Also, in 1927, there was significant flooding in the Mississippi Valley which led to New Orleans blowing a levee to save the city.  I might be wrong, but that would be my guess.

If it does end up being New Orleans, it is a wonderful city and will certainly be a fantastic location to celebrate such a milestone!
