Muscato, good, sweet and cheap!

Muscato is nice.  Or riesling.  But my favorite would be a ripasso style from Italy... They dehydrate the grapes almost to the point of becoming raisins then ferment the wine from the juice.  Very concentrated sweet flavor.  Or an ice wine

A white zinfandel is a nice sweet wine with a blush color.

The sweetest wine you can by is called Ice Wine.  Just be careful, it's really sweet.

Jewish sacramental wines, like Manichewitz or Mogen David. They are quite tasty. Try the cherry and blackberry ones.

I prefer Riunite...but you have to go to a specialty liquor store to buy the different types (ie white, red, rose)...they dont even carry the original flavor (Lambrusco) at Wal Mart

Walmart really have poor wine selection, and most of their stuff are not sweet at all.

Walmart's Counterpart, Sam's Club, on the other hand, have pretty reasonable selection.  It usually carries some dessert wines.  Some higher end Sam's carry Dolce, which is a sweet white Californian dessert wine ($58/half bottle), and they have several other Ice Wines and dessert wines such as Muscato.

Some of the grocery stores carry higher sugar wines such as Port.  Port is a fortified red wine that is very sweet and high in alcohol content.  However, due to the high alcohol content, the sale of that varies in different states.  For example, in California, there is no problem with such sale in grocery stores, but in Texas, only HEB chain carries Port (since they have alcohol license to carry such beverage with high alcohol content).  Port can be inexpensive - cheaper ones such as Taylor Port  goes for as little as $10/bottle.  That is your best bet for cheap sweetest wine.
