What is the target market for babies/childrens play mats?

o-6 months. I think this because one, that;s what my son's playmat suggets, but also because it makes sense. Mat's include toys/music/interactive designs, to encourage a child's natural development. For example, my son's has a mirror which he loves. If I put him on his tummy on the mat for his tummy time, he will automatically start to try to lift his head. Yet when he sees the mirror he will continue working his neck mucsles where as he bores quickly with tummy time not on the mat. And the mats are really just designed for use until a child crawls. I know no baby that will lay still to play on a mat once he gets mobile.
