What is the teacher’s role in forming an art integrated lesson?

When lesson-planning, I try to be mindful of the multiple intelligences or special gifts of my students.  I use the fine arts in the anticipation set, activity portion, or the students may sometimes choose an art project for their assessment option.  The teacher's role?- research, provide examples and resources, discuss with art educators, and encourage students to take risks.

Making sure kids know what the assignment is and making sure they are on task. Other than that, the teacher stays out of their hair because the kids need freedom to be creative in art lessons.
