A couple days ago I went in for my group interview as a Wells Fargo Teller and I did really good, that is why I was then called for the next round of interviews. The next interview will be a one-on-one with the managers. The Wells Fargo recruiter did mention a training program of 8 days. I was wondering if anyone knows how this will be and approximately how many hours it will take for each day?

Teller training is 8 to 5 monday through friday and 8 to 5 either mon-wed-fri or tue-thur-fri the next week. The first day is an introduction to the company. The rest of the first week is customer service and sales techniques. The second week is all about how the computers work and how to process transactions. There is about 10 to 15 people in each training class you will get to know them and will probably be friends with them. The teacher stays the same for most of the training, but could be somebody new on any given day. It takes place wherever the training headquarters is in your region, which is not necessarily close by. I had to drive an hour each way for training. Its a lot of information to take in so be prepared. If you don't learn everything pretty thoroughly you will have a hard time starting out in the position. You learn all the types of loans, accounts, cards, fees, and everything else that has to do with a bank. Its pretty fun, though, if you get a good group of people.
