  1. It is maintained at about 25 degrees celsius. Sometimes it gets a bit cold at night you can ask the rail man to turn it down.  


  2. The AC thermostat almost never works on Indian trains. So, especially at night, temperatures can go down to 5 C. It becomes very, very cold. Best take some warm clothes with you when travelling AC.
