  1. I thought you might find this chart useful.

  2. Third cousins. The term removed means a generation difference. So if one person was one person's  Great grandfather, and another person's great great great great grandfather, they would be third cousins, thrice removed. If, however, you are of the same generation and he is great great grandfather to both of you, you are simply third cousins.

  3. Their great-grandparents would be siblings.

Their grandparents would be first cousins.

Their parents would be second cousins.

    They would be third cousins.

  4. Third cousins.

Removed refers to a generation difference.

  5. Third Cousins.  They are in the same generation coming down from a common ancestors(their great great grandfather);therefore there are no removes.  If he was the great grandfather of one and the great great grandfather of the other then they would be 2nd cousins once removed.

  6. Did you say Relationship - kissing third cousins

  7. third cousins

  8. If they're not siblings, they are indeed 3rd cousins.

1st cousins share the same Grandparents.

2nd cousins share the same GREAT Grandparents.

  9. first cousins have parents that are siblings; second cousins have grandparents that are siblings; third cousins have great-grandparents who are siblings. Therefore the relationship you are describing would be "fourth cousins".

  10. My Great Great Granfather's son is my great great uncle and his son would be my 1st cousin twice removed and his son would be my second cousin once removed and his son would be my 3rd cousin. We all share the same person as our common ancestor.

Only my siblings, myself and all of my third cousins can call him Great-Great-Grandfather. Check it out at: http://www.rushings.info/images/kinships...

  11. Supposedly, "removed" means at a different generation.  With the same great-great-grandfather, you are talking about FOUR (4) generations, so I would say "fourth cousins", but it depends; afterall, they could also be siblings, aunt/uncle and niece/nephew. You did NOT make it clear...

  12. Of course they might be brothers or sisters.

  13. In my case, it's 1st cousins, on my mother's side at least. The great grandfather of my Mom and her 2 sisters is my Great Great Grandfather. So, the children of my aunts (my 1st cousins)  and I  all share the same GG-grandfather.
