  1. Just as the above says, it is Caller ID block. But the person you are calling also has the ability to block your call if you block your number. When you use *67 on some calls, you will either get a recording saying the person you are calling does not except calls from people who block there number or you are given the option to say your name. The person you are calling then gets a special ring on his end and he has the option of answering the call after he knows who it is. Sort of like a collect call.

    ID capabilities. The activation code for this feature is (*67)

    push-button or 1167 rotary. This feature is provided free of charge to

    all subscribers receiving telephone service from suitably equipped
