What is the thing called you hook up dial up phone cord to?

I need to buy this thing for my computer. I want dial up hooked to computer. Thing that says phone and another spot to hook phone cord to that says wall. Whats this item called?

If it is the cord that you want to physically plug in - it is a RJ14 telephone line cord.  They usually come in sizes of 7', 14' and 25'.  If it is a jack that you need - it is still a RJ 14.  If you are ordering these from a phone company (cords get from any store - target, radio shack etc) for the jack specify a USOC RJ-14.

its a modem, fax/modem or voice/modem... they are rather cheap.. I have at least 5 of them just lying around my house... if you are in 718 I will give you one free if you want..
