What is the thing inside musical cards called? I want only the part that plays music.

What are they called and where can I get them to put in my own cards?

I do nit know the official name for them... music button or voice button or something... anyway, they sell them at craft and fabric stores to put inside stuffed animals and things.... good luck with your project!
