Look just at the beginning of the video, where it writes: "You need one of those to play. Put it on the SECOND fret".

What is that thing?

  1. Its called a capo.

  2. It is indeed a capo. A capo is a mechanical device that attaches to the neck of a guitar and acts as a "moveable nut" - the same effect as playing a barre with one finger.

Capo's are a great way to make a key change while using the same chords written on the music (transposing not necessary). BTW, the capo can be placed anywhere on the guitar fretboard!

  3. Im guessing its a capo

  4. It's called a capo, pronounced "cape - oh".  They don't cost much, probably between $7 and $12.

  5. a capo?
