What is the thing that we have i can't figure it out no matter how i treid ?!!

hi there..... there is something that am really confused about..i know this guy for like maybe 2 and a half years we used to be friends at first and later on we fell in love with each other... after like a year he just stopped saying that he loves me and this sweet thing... i really don't know cause he never says that he loves me but he kisses me almost every time i see him... though he does not love me.. what should i understand from that.. i love him so much if i could only have the chase to prove it, and he is such a great guy and so polite only i know the other side of him...i don't know what to do can some one please help me but without telling me to ask him cause i don't wanna ask him
