In addition to the different time zones in the US, some states have daylight saving during the summer, whilst others don't.

It does get confusing, I deal with Arizona from the UK, there is a 8 hour time difference at the moment. No daylight saving in AZ, BST in UK, This difference will change to 7 hours when UK changes to GMT in a few weeks.

11:43 PM in California and the whole west coast, 12:43 AM around Arizona, 1:43 AM central time (Texas, etc.), and 2:53 AM in the East coast.

In California there's an 8 hour time difference, for central time a 7 hour difference, and so on.
