  1. From Alberta (Mountain Time) to France it is an 8 hour difference.  I only remember that because London has a 7 hour difference from here and France is one hour more.

  2. The US has several time zones (especially if you're writing from Hawaii - most people are assuming continental).

France is GMT +1, which means that from New york, it's plus 6 h, from Chicago, it's plus 7 hours, from Salt Lake City, it's plus 8 hours, from San Francisco, it's plus 9h.

Keep in mind that France and the United States do NOT change times in the summer and winter at the same time... this means that it could vary one hour twice a year (for about 2 weeks).

Of course if you're in Phoenix this will only change once a year!

  3. I'm pretty sure it's 6 hours from France to the East Coast, so if it's 6 p.m. in France, it's noon in New York City and 9 a.m. in Los Angeles.

  4. Typically France is one hour ahead of GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). Typically, France is six hours ahead of EST, 7 hours ahead of CST, 8 hours ahead of MT, and 9 hours ahead of PST. There is a period of about a month in March when the US switch their clocks ahead will be either 5/6/7 hours behind France. Also, there's a period of two weeks in the fall when the US will 7/8/9 hours behind. The times listed above is for the lower 48 states only.

  5. France is GMT +1

USA is GMT -5 , -6 or -8  depending on timezone

do sepending on daylight savings time and where in the USA you are it between 6 aand 9 hours later in France .

  6. france is +1 GMT, eastern US is -5 GMT

  7. ok right now in los angelos, california it is 6:58 pm and in london, france its 2:58 am so that is a a 7 hour time difference.
