What is the time difference between New York and California during the time of the time change (in the summer)

Greetings!  To my knowledge, in the US, the time differences are constant, except for Arizona, which does not use daylight savings time.  What that means is that from October to March, there is a two hour difference between NY and AZ (this would be mountain time).  From April through September, it stays the same time as CA (or Pacific time), which would make AZ and NY (eastern time) two hours difference.

To my knowledge, AZ is the only state that does this.  If I'm wrong, I will surely and most appreciably be corrected.

But as stated, Pacific and Eastern times are three hours apart.
