Currently, New Zealand is 17 hours ahead of Texas, with New Zealand on Standard Time and Texas on Daylight Time. At the end of September, the time difference increases to 18 hours when New Zealand changes to Daylight Time, then at the beginning of November, the difference increases to 19 hours when Texas changes to Standard Time.
