Where in the US are you, and where in Mexico? There are time zones in both countries!

time zones are east to west, not north to south... you'd have to say where in the US because Mexico is in 3 different time zones...

Most of Mexico (from Puerto Vallarta all the way over to Cancun) is in the Central Time Zone. So it wpuld be in the same time zone as Chicago.  The states north of Puerto Vallarta on the coast of the Gulf of California and Baja California Sur are in the Mountain Time Zone.  So these states would be in the same time zone as Denver.  And one state, Baja California Norte is in the Pacific Time Zone, the same time zone as Los Angeles.  See the map in the link below.
