What is the tip precentage for a pizza delivery driver?

Is it the last run of the day? A rainy night when you know the entire city has ordered pizza from these guys? The drivers make their livings from their tips. Be generous. It's a crazy job, and most of the time, the pizzas are cold before they leave the kitchen! Just put your oven on 200 degrees F and warm it back up!

I have made my living on tips when I was in college, so I am a generous tipper. I think it's fabulous to be able to make a phone call and have a pizza delivered to my door. I give the driver $3-$4.

I figure the best tippers have drivers fighting over their order, if you order regularly from the same place, and my generosity will pay me back sooner or later.
