I thought it was ¨Drinkers of the Wind¨. It tells the story thru the eyes of the boy groom bound to the colt for life, and sent by the king of Morrocco as a gift of his best colts to king of France, who thinks they are worthless and sends them out on the street, then they end up after years of hardship in London, and so on...Thanks. Its a great book, and I want to read it again.
