For my internship, I have to find the group of people who are the ones actually going into the automotive dealerships and selling the equipment, oils, shop tools, etc. I'm thinking there might be a website that contains a directory, but I cannot find what the title name of the group is.

  1. Anyone who supplies items to them are called vendors.

  2. vendor, or rep

  3. They have a variety of names - after-market suppliers or dealers or vendors.

There is not really a blanket term for them as they are employed by major oil companies, parts suppliers, tool, tyre, wheel, audio suppliers and the like so the best way forward for you is to split it down into the various sub-sectors and then go from there.

  4. Vendors, suppliers, manufacturer's representatives.
