  1. Rio de Janeiro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Just marvelous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The marvelous city!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. In Brazil, There are a lot of nice place do visit. The capital really is Brasília, but this city isn't tourist place. Go to Rio de Janeiro and know the more beautiful beaches of all world, or go to Salvador or Recife, etc . One dolar worth  two reais (our money) Good luck!!!

I think that I explain a litle of Brazil for you! ok?

  3. Rio. I went in 2005 and found that most of the tourists do go to the obvious places eg Christ the Redeemer statue, Sugar Loaf Mountain, Maracana Stadium, Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, but if you do go there is plenty more to see and do.

The horse racecourse (Jockey Club) is out of this world and free to get in to, if you get a good guide like we had you can go to a Samba School and watch the Brazilians practise for the carnival before having a samba yourself.

If you want to go somewhere else please visit Iguazu Falls. They are so so so spectacular, and although tourists visit, at the moment it does not get too swamped and cramped.

  4. Rio is the most visited, but I don't really like it there 'cause security is not tight. Too dangerous. I really prefer Bahia, Recife and Santa Catarina, they're absolutely gorgeous! But if you want to meet people, you should go to one of the biggest cities such as Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Manaus, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Salvador and Florianopolis.

  5. The State of Ceara!

We have a lot of beaches, the temperature is about 89°F every The State of Ceara in the Northeast of Brazil, offers a water sports coastal area of warm temperature about (83°F year average), warm waters (79°F) and 356 miles of sunny beaches, strong and constant winds. The capital city of Fortaleza has over 2 million habitants. Located by the ocean provides public access to Wind and Kite surf on the finest Brazilian beaches. Variety of accommodations in Fortaleza are more affordable than you think and city is more fun than you even dream of. A jamming night life, warm hospitality and delicious sea-food make your stay unforgettable.

  6. Rio, but there are manymany places you can go. Brazil is about the size of the USA, and just like the USA there is something and somewhere for everyone.

  7. Without a doubt--Rio.  I had a teacher in school who went to Rio and brought back pictures and from that point on I always wanted to go there. I went to Rio in '02' and had the time of my life there. There I hired a taxi for 8 hours and including the tip, it only cost me about $60.00....(try getting a cab for 8 hrs in USA for that price)..In those 8 hrs I went to the Christ the Redeemer, took the tram ride up Sugarloaf, rode by Maracana's stadium(the soccer/futbul stadium), walked along Copacabana beach and it's beautiful white sandy beaches, ate at a restaurant off of Copacabana that had the best fried chicken cooked with garlic and parsley. The views from the mountains are so breathtaking. Go to Rio--you will not regret it. I grew up in the country and am not much of a city person, but Rio made the best impression on me and is a city that I would live in if I lived in Brazil.

  8. Most people I hear go to Sao Paulo and Rio.  Sao Paulo for business (big city) Rio for the beaches.  I went on a long trip last year with some friends and I can honestly say I wasn't impressed with Rio at all.  Really dirty...and the beachs were to full of people.  However, I went up to the Northeast...a place called "Natal" and it was absolutely gorgeous!  The most beautiful beaches, wonderful food and the people are very welcoming.  More so than in Rio.  My step dad travels to the south of Brazil a lot for business and he told me likes it better to because there the people are more polite and there is less crime.  The name of the place is...ST. Catherina...or by the falls..Iguacu..(I hope I am spelling this right).  They are even more gorgeous than Niagara.

  9. If you want a nice relaxing time....Go to BUZIOS

  10. Rio because it's FUN.

    Here's a trip: http://www.englishrose.worldventures.com...

  11. brazilia think its da capital

  12. i dunno .. Rio ?

  13. In Rio de Janeiro. Beaches, beautiful people, fun places to visit, a very kind people....

  14. Any beaches in the northwest part or Brasil and Iguacu falls...

  15. Without Doubt the top tourist spot in Brazil is Rio de Janeiro.

    Why ?

    Carnival

    Soccer,

    The Beaches

    The place is sensual

    The Birth of Bossa Nova

    The Views

But Brazil has many potential places

Salvador do Bahia :Brazil's African City

    Paraty :

    Olinda

    Forteleza

    The Amazon

    And Igussua Falls

  16. Rio de Janeiro City, hands down! If you have ever heard of Copacabana, Ipanema, these are some of the beaches there. The Carnaval Festival is the largest street festival in the world (and it lasts a whole week). The beauty of the white sand beaches against the green rolling hills is breathtaking. Tourists from all over the world go there because of the natural beauty, the super friendly natives, the busy nightlife, and the relatively low cost of staying in Rio (1 unit of the Brazilian currency is worth about a third of a dollar). Also, one can fly directly there from most major U.S. cities. Good luck!
