  1. I think this video explains it all:

  2. I think of the fact that almost every religion in the world has had a triad to symbolize the various aspects of its godhead - Christians have the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Egyptians had Horus, Isis, and Osiris. The Native Americans (Lakota Sioux) have The Great Spirit, White Buffalo Cow Woman, and Wanble Galeshka (the spotted eagle). It also makes me think about Hermes Trismegistus, a mythological figure known for the quote "as above, so below". He was known as "thrice the greatest". It also makes me think of the foundational elements of a human family - mother, father, child. I feel as though it has deep religious/spiritual sybolism, and it has always been one of my favorite numbers.

  3. The third dimension - we do things in threes so they will manifest in our physical realm. It's roots stem from the meaning of multiplicity. Creative power; growth. Three is a moving forward of energy, overcoming duality, expression, manifestation and synthesis. Three is the first number to which the meaning "all" was given. It is The Triad, being the number of the whole as it contains the beginning, a middle and an end.The power of three is universal and is the tripartide nature of the world as heaven, earth, and waters. It is human as body, soul and spirit. Notice the distinction that soul and spirit are not the same. They are not. Three is birth, life, death. It is the beginning, middle and end. Three is a complete cycle unto itself. It is past, present, future.

The symbol of three is the triangle. Three interwoven circles or triangles can represent the indissoluble unity of the three persons of the trinity. Others symbols using three are: trident, fleur-de-lis, trefoil, trisula, thunderbolt, and trigrams.

The astral or emotional body stays connected to the physically body for three days after death. There is scientific evidence that the brain, even when all other systems are failing takes three days to register complete shutdown.

There are 3 phases to the moon. Lunar animals are often depcited as 3 legged. Three is the heavenly number, representing soul, as four represents body. Together the two equal seven (3+4=7 ) and form the sacred hebdomad. The 3x4=12 representing the signs of the Zodiac and months of the year. Pythagorean three means completion.

There are three wishes, genies have three wishes, three leprecons, three prince or princesses, three witches, three weird sisters among others.

The Trinity in Christian numerology is very important and naturally linked with the most holy, perfect and the best. The number 3 has been linked with the superlative before Christianity, and is translated by the Greeks as superlatively great, and the Latin as happiest. God is related to the number 3 as having a surface and being real (manifested) or 'touchable', this becomes further defined with the number 4 and the addition of a fourth point which creates a solidity. Completeness is symbolized by 3 (as well as 7 and 9) but for different reasonsCharacter traits: Enjoys being the center of attention, tends to show off and loves to be admired, but is quite often more sensitive then the exterior suggests. Has a tendency to expend energies wastefully in too many directions. With a love of pleasure also may be wasteful with money.Negative tendencies: vain, gossipy and superficial.

  4. I think of that show 3's company. Where this guy was living with two hot chicks, but couldn't do anything with them because he had to pretend to be g*y in order to live with them. hahaha irony.

  5. Put two of them together & you get an 8 or two oo's that are connected in the middle!  Put em the other way & they look like butterflies!  Other than that, 3 sides make a triangle.  Other than that, I haven't a CLU!  :o)

  6. Huh?  There are none.  The only thing mystical about the number 3 is that it takes 3 points to define a plane.  This is why a three-legged stool or chair is not wobbly but a four-legged one is.
