What is the total volume of peanut butter produced in the u.s.? worldwide?

Production of peanut in the U.S.A. annually is estimated at 1.8 million tons. or about 8% of the world production of 23.2 million tons.  About 50% of the peanuts produced in the US are processed into peanut butter.  That would be about 900,000 tons of peanut butter each year.  

    I'm not to sure about world production of peanut butter.  China and India are the major peanut producers along with the USA and most of their peanuts are used as livestock feed.
