What is the touqe specs for head bolts on 1979 gs1000?

Oil leaks from around the head gasket, the bike only has 9000 miles on it. I think tighten the head bolts would help. what type of oil is best?

  1. The Factory reccomendation for oil is 10W40. Go here and ask in the Tech. Forum about the Torque specs.
