  1. You could easily spend the 3 days in Dublin alone.  There's a lot to do there.

Day 1: explore the west of the city (National Museum of Ireland, Smithfield & Jameson Distillery, Kilmainhaim Gaol (jail), and the Guinness museum/brewery.   Temple Bar at night.  Do a "pub crawl" (you can do organised group pub crawls.

Day 2: explore the city centre and south Dublin

go to Trinity College and see the Book of Kells, walk up Grafton Street to St. Stephen's Green, see the Natural History Museum, Merrion Square, and the Art Museum on your way back to town

Go up O'Connell Street and see the GPO (post office), browse shops on Henry Street, and go on another pub crawl

    Day 3: day trip

go south to Powerscourt in County Wicklow or go up to Belfast (2 hour via train)

    Hope this helps!!

Oh, I forgot to mention the weather.....the days will be getting shorter.  The sun will set about 4ish and not come up (if it does at all) until 8ish.  It will be cool, cold if it is rainy and windy at all.  Averages for that time of year are about 45-50 degrees F high and 40ish low.

  2. wet and cold weather

where are you going?? or are you planning a round country trip? Cliffs of Moher, Dublin (hop on hop off bus), the Burren, Crough Patrick, Queen Maeve's Grave, Blarney Stone, and Giants Causeway are some good sites :)

  3. The weather outdoors will be wet and cold.

Not as cold as other countries but the rain will be unpredictable.

For more info see www.discoverireland.ie or google board failte, this will give you some ideas, try to get to newgrange or the ailwee caves, the burren

  4. Em...well it depends on where abouts in the country you want to go, and whether you would rather explore cities, or admire the landscape / countryside. It also depends on whether you want to take it easy, or try to cram as much stuff as you can into three days. However, November is winter time...and it will be cold, and knowing Ireland, probably wet...it will be getting darker earlier on in the evenings too. It's still a great place to come to visit though, even if winter is probably not the best time weather wise!!
