  1. if i remember rightly is the line of the center of gravity running through the transverse section of the ship or hull that points vertically down.. i think that's considered after buoyancy(archemedes) has been worked out, and the trim, but dont quote me.. i been away from the sea for 8 years, but i still remember where the last rivet goes..lol..


  2. if i recall captain mcnulty's explaination - it tells you how fast GM gets big?  that was many years ago - i suggest you get a book on naval architecture.
