I've heard it all: religion of peace, religion of violence, and the list goes on.

Muhammad allegedly raped a 9-year old and killed or ordered killings of people who insulted him.

Really, what is the truth?

Wikipedia helps with explaining this all to you, so if you're not afraid of a bit of reading continue you on to that.

But Islam means submission in Arabic, so why would a religion that means submission to our Lord come with violence? The Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) did not order killings of people who insulted him, he was pure of heart and violence was never a resort to an insult towards him. The "9-year old girl" was Aisha, a later wife of his who was not a child then. If you look at the marriages back then, most cultures wed teenage girls. But this marriage was not for lust, it was a social marriage, one made for the benefits it had to increase the religion and regions in which to spread it.

Do not take my opinion as fact, but you will have to do more reading yourself. I can assure you that this religion is not of violence or rape or oppression, but one of peace, tolerance and total submission to God.

"Muslims believe that God revealed the Qur'an to Muhammad, God's final prophet, and regard the Qur'an and the Sunnah (words and deeds of Muhammad) as the fundamental sources of Islam.[5] They do not regard Muhammad as the founder of a new religion, but as the restorer of the original monotheistic faith of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets. Islamic tradition holds that Jews and Christians distorted the revelations God gave to these prophets by either altering the text, introducing a false interpretation, or both."

May Allah help you find the truth and steer you to the right path. Amin

  6. The Word of God v3.0

  7. its a peaceful religion and makes sure lot of sense if you think about it clearly

  8. I think all religions preach to teach kindness and caring to your fellow man. Its us imperfect humans who get it all wrong and misinterpret things and act badly!! Love is Understanding!!

  9. The truth is that the true nature of any religion is the nature of any of its followers.  Any religion is great or disgusting.

  10. No idea.

Many people just create their own religion because those who start become well known, since they are the "first preachers" of it.

In South Korea, there's this guy who did the same thing except in his "religion", he said he was a deity and he needed young 18 year old girls to have s*x with everyday or everyone will suffer a judgment.

    Sadly, many people believed him.
