  1. Neither.

  2. True religion is an oxymoron.

  3. There is no true religion. Pick any you like and follow it, if that is your wish. They are all equally valid/erroneous.

  4. Someone is right about your Avatar; make me think twice to decide to answer your question!

Since you are atheist, and I am a Buddhist, so we have much in common.

Being an atheist, you believe in no God(s).

Being a Buddhist, we believe all things come to existence, because of cause and effect; therefore, this world comes into being because the circumstance is right. The Big Bang theory and other causes that created this Universe, as we know it, are more plausible to us than one Creator God.

Since we take no one as our master (like owning you- as in the God based religion), therefore, we do not worship any Gods, and we do not subordinated ourselves under any authoritative figures, be it Gods or otherwise, except our teachers and Gurus.

All we think and do is base on several universal laws that Buddha discovered, the Karma and Reincarnation, etc.

Karma in the spiritual form is harder to recognize, but karma (action and reaction) in this world is readily understandable by everyone. You treat people nice, and people will treat you nice in return. As to proving reincarnations, you only need to seek further into your subconscious, once you are able to do that, and then past lives will never be a question again.

All these universal laws are readily provable by seeking within and work without, and all is clear as whistle to you. With all our searches, we have seen Gods of all religions and they all claimed to be the Creator, yet we cannot prove they are correct.

Every God in the end is surpass by another God of another religions, in the end we find there is no more God that can fit the shoes of being a Creator!!!

The Shakyamuni Buddha had discovered this is the truth, and in order for the future generations also to understand this Truth, the Buddha had compassionately left behind a store of knowledge, tools and trainings, on how we can seek out the truth of the Universe for ourselves and realize who we real are in essence. Therefore, there will not be any misunderstanding.

In a simple sentence, we can prove to ourselves that, we are greater than what we appear, and there is no Creator God; and all things run on Karma- Cause and Effect, Action and Reaction and nothing more. Once we understand this- we will no longer be confining by this Karma and Reincarnation; no master should be above us, and we are the Enlightened beings.

Therefore, perhaps you can tell me which the true religion is now.

  5. All of the above since there is one God and we are all God's dearly loved children.

  6. Buddhism wins by the fact that it has less people dying in the name of buddha.

And also because buddhism has no god.

  7. deism

  8. Buddhists and Jains don't condemn people to h**l for disbelief.  Buddhists for sure encourage investigation and questioning as part of good practice.  Buddhists and Jains also do not advocate violence for any reason, although sad to say there have been Buddhist leaders who have abused their positions and the people who trust them as teachers.

I don't say that I know that I am right as a Buddhist and all others are wrong, but I certainly believe that anyone whose view leads them to violence or condemnation of others is wrong by default.

  9. All of them are good religions, since they teach to worship one God....

  10. I'm not far too well educated in my religion but this is sort of why I believe what I believe from the basics.

I'm Hindu,or that's the religion you could say I am.Basically,my scripture teaches that all religions including mine were written down as scripture by humans.Possibly aided by divine intervention, but nonetheless, written by humans. Ultimately, the oldest of my religious texts (the Vedas and Bhagavad Gita) were written down over 5,000 years ago but were practiced before that.It taught that human life is for finding your personal relationship with god through spiritual service of any sort, and you can do it through any religion. The core value of what I believe is that a Christian can become a Muslim,a Muslim a Jew,and a Jew a Hindu,a Hindu a Bhuddist, but your eternal relationship with god is going to stay,no matter what religion you identify yourself as.I'm taught that we all have an eternal bond with god, every living species including the primitive cell, because they are still alive, but their soul hasn't migrated to a suerior body to make spiritual progress. And of course,I believe everything in this Universe and the trillions of other material Universes are temporary, full of suffering, and we are sent here because of our own misdeeds,so our soul migrates from primitive to intelligent lifeforms until finally we can move to the higher planetary systems or to the spiritual world (heaven),our your soul is on an elevated platform so you are always remembering god wherever you are, heaven or h**l (really elevated people in my religion believe that).

  11. everyone that follows a religion thinks that theirs is the true one.im a muslim so ofcourse i think islam is the real religion. though i respect every religion and dont make fun of it. though i do defend my religion wen i need to because a lot of ppl critisize it. but i think that islam is the true religion.

  12. There are literally millions upon millions up millions of people on this planet and their religious beliefs are wide and varied. Just because a particular religion has a huge following it doesn't make that religion correct OR incorrect.

What makes a religion correct is whether or not it is the truth. "What is truth?"...You ask. Truth is not like beauty, it's not in the eye of the beholder. What is truth? In a court of law truth is found in two ways.

    1. What is fact.

    2. What is the "Weight of Evidence".

Of all of the religions out there the only one that would qualify as truth would have to be Christianity. All of the other religions have so much nonesense and impossible half truths that they don't even come close.

But Christianity has MUCH truth in it and MUCH "Weight of Evidence".

It has fulfilled prophecy. It has science. It has geographical evidence. It has geological evidence. It has many, many other proofs such as miracles and the like. On and on these proof go. Many are facts and many are evidential proofs.

I would never even think that another religion comes close.

  13. Christianity is the true religion. How else do you explain the fact that demons are cast out in the name of Jesus.I have also seen miracles such as people who could not walk walking in the name of Jesus they walked.

  14. Do you really care, Hitler?

  15. Keep BURNing in h**l (h**l being a state of being in *this* life (I believe)) (lol.)

  16. I think you forgot some...

    (And, it's "Islam.")

  17. i'm personally in favour of ethnic cleansing to get rid of the religions i don't like....

  18. By studying them. You'll realise how absurd they all are real soon, except for Buddhism which is more of a ideology than a religion.

  19. What is the absolute truth ?

If you can tell me this,...maybe than you'll find the absolute true religion. :)

  20. thats not a cool avatar.

The essential and definite element of my conversion to Islam was the Qur'an. I began to study it before my conversion with the critical spirit of a Western intellectual .... This definitely converted me............... Ali Selman Benoist, France, Doctor of Medicine. ........................... I have read the Sacred Scriptures of every religion; nowhere have I found what I encountered in Islam: perfection. He is now the Dean of the College of the Medicine at the University. From my studies and from what I have learned throughout this conference, I believe that everything that has been recorded in the Qur’aan 1400 years ago must be the truth, that can be proved by the scientific means. Since the Prophet Muhammad could neither read nor write, Muhammad must be a messenger who relayed this truth which was revealed to him as an enlightenment by the One Who is an eligible Creator. This Creator must be Allah, or Allah. Therefore, I think this is the time to say ‘Laa ilaaha illallah’, that there is no Allah to worship except Allah, ‘Muhammad Rasool Allah’, Muhammad is messenger of Allah...
