when you look at a phone cord, the red and green wires are in the middle and the yellow and black are on the out side. i need the device that makes the signal from the yellow and black go to the red and green on the inside, and the signal from red and green on the inside go to the outside.

i assume that you are wanting to swap line 1 with line 2...

you have several options...

first they sell splitters (they look similar to the ones that take one phone jack and split it for 2 phones) that will give you one jack for line 1 and one for line 2..

you can rewire the jack, and switch the wires so that line 2 now becomes line 1 and line 1 now becomes line 2

you can add a second jack next to your existing one, where you would wire this jack from the wiring inside your existing jack, but switching line 2 for line 1 in the new jack..

just buy a phone jack and wire it up however you want!
