What is the type of licence called in NYS that will let you drive any vehicle?

I mean you can drive motorcyles, taxi's, cars, mopeds, trucks,traillers,anything, like a universal licence?

Class 1 I think.

Class A,B,C,D and M-motorcycle.

the test you have to take would be for class A, be careful, you would also have to study airbrakes and the air system for class A.  Its also called a commercial drivers license.

that would be a class A license with all the endorsements, passanger, hazardous, etc..

i have a CDL class A but i still had to take a separate

test for my motorcycle endorsement. this was like

15 yrs ago. i believe you still have to take separate

tests for different license.
