  1. I've never seen "The Curse of the Golden Flower", but I doubt it was an actual style of Ninjutsu. The only authentic Ninjutsu is Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, also known as Bujinkan Ninpo Taijutsu and Bujinkan Ninjutsu. I also can't think of what a "weird like boomerang sword" could be. In Bujinkan they dress in a black gi with tabi and sometimes wear the black hood that covers the face.

Just watched "The Curse of the Golden Flower" and they are moshuh nanren. A sort of Chinese ninja. Their fighting system supposedly still exists, but very few people know of it. My shidoshi (Ninjutsu teacher) told me that the real ninjas did NOT come from moshuh nanren.

  2. Any type of ninjitsu, though I doubt you and your friend could find anywhere to learn it. They have some places in some cities, but it wouldn't match up.

Oh, and a lot of the ninja scenes from that movie were horribly inaccurate. Just thought I'd let you know.

  3. Curse of the golden flower is an adaptation of a play from  traditional chinese opera so the stealth warriors weren't ninja, ninja/shinobi are japanese. these guys were the emperors very personal and secret bodyguards. these chines styles ninja can commonly be referred to as the moshuh nanren, renowned chinese stealth warriors employed for various reasons and descending from clans as do the ninja. it is said that the ninja were influenced and inspired by the moshuh nanren.
