  1. it depends on high end it is.  Cocos about min wage with fifty or so a night in tips.  But the higher end places can be upward of three and four hundred dollars a night.


  2. i live about 3 hrs north of la, but what you make all depends on where you work. hourly, servers in cali make at least min wage which is 8/hr. they could make more but that is up to the employer. a person could work at dennys in la and make 50 a day or work at a fine dining place and make 300 a day. a server at my work averages about 200 on a reg night. more on a busy night.

  3. You cannot get paid less or more than $8.00 per hour as a server.  It will probably go up in a year or two, but that is the hourly wage for all servers in Los Angeles (and I believe all of California).  I average somewhere between $120-$200 for every shift I work.
