Blank note pad? Computer? Pre-filled cards?

I'm planning on working for a large restaurant chain like Chili's, but was just curious to what standard procedure waiters use to take table orders. Do I need to bring my own note pads?

Thanks-

  1. Well, it depends on the restaurant. I used to work for macaroni grill - when i worked there it was owned by Brinker ( I  heard they want to sell mac grill) which I know that Brinker owns Chili's

If mac grill is anything like chili's you are supplied with paper. You just need to bring your own pens.

Word of advice - When I eat at Chili's I notice they had the same computer system as Mac Grill. It sucked. I hated the way that the alcohol was set up. It made the process a lot longer.

  2. Just bring your own writing utensils... you'll be fine.

  3. memory son. Get up on your game.  paper is for the weak
