What is the typical weight of a hard tail carbon frame mountain bike with Shimano Deodre LXs?

I am thinking of getting a moutain bike for some trail riding. Just curious to know what is the typical weight of such bike if I were to spend between $300-$400.

  1. The lightest hard tail carbon bikes can weigh around 21 lbs and very, very expensive. Your typical $300-$400 hard tail is going to weigh 30 lbs.


  2. Yeah carbon frames run for $2000+, and weigh in normally around or under 20 lbs. Your decent hard tail for around $400 or so run from 25-30 lbs.
