  1. Rho is used to represent momentum.

Rho is a letter of the Greek alphabet can be represented by a "P", for momentum it is the lower case ρ

  2. Linear Momentum is motional Energy  per Unit velocity of a moving force .The  Unit of Energy is called the Joules ,so Joule per Unit velocity is the momentum.

If the moving force is rotational ,  a rotational momentum exists.      It is described as the product of Energy and the rotational period of the motion.   The dimensional unit is equal to = Kg m^2/sec.

  3. Strangely enough, there is no named momentum unit.  (This is kind of peculiar since momentum is an extremely fundamental quantity in physics; even more fundamental than force, which does have its own unit).

The best answer is that the SI unit of momentum is the "kilogram-meter per second"; not very satisfying.

  4. kg m/s
