What is the urban planning definition of a "Traffic Point"?

I'm not talking about a "driving record traffic point". But a "Traffic Point" in terms of streets and city/urban planning.

When I search, it only brings up "traffic point of view", and I know its not that. Is it an intersection? Or a point with lots of traffic?

A taffic point is simple. It is were major roads come together.
