What is the use of Ayurvedic Medicine "Gotu Kola" for the treatment of Episiotomy? Is it still helpful after 5 weeks of Episiotomy?

Other names of Gotu Cola are Centella Asiatica, Hydrocotyle asiatica, Indian pennywort(English), Mandukaparni(India), Pegaga(Malaysia) and Di Chien Tsao, Man Tien Hsing and Zhi Xue Cao (China).

In one study reported in a French medical journal in 1966, women treated with gotu kola after childbirth healed more rapidly than those given standard treatment. Is it still applicable after 42 years, when the conventional treatment have been developed than before?

What is the use of Peri Balm and how it can help in the healing of Episiotomy?
