  1. to pass electron from one place to another you must need the negative point.

  2. Without the negative terminal on a battery, the positive terminal would be useless.

The flow of electric current needs a source of current, the + terminal, and a place for it to return to, the - terminal.

In fact, were it not for the fact that Ben Franklin got it backwards, the battery terminals would be the other way around. The one now labeled + would b - and the one labeled - would be +.

    .

  3. The only device that requires Negative DC charge output is the negaive ionization device....like air fresher or anti-static generator. It runs with 10K volts negative charge to produce negative ion.

  4. I believe the answers given so far miss the point of your question. A negative DC supply usually is used along with an positive supply in audio electronics in order to produce an AC output (both positive and negative voltage excursions with respect to the zero volt level) which represents the AC nature of the typical audio input signal. The only other use for a negative supply voltage that I can think of is mostly a thing of the past but old fashioned ram chips required a +5, +12, and -12v supplies.

  5. The same that a positive one, you use a difference of potencial (positive or negative)
