  1. Meditation is used in different ways for different things. It can be used in prayer.  It can be used to clear the mind of all thoughts, or to focus on one thought in particular.  It can ease stress and anxiety, and help someone to focus.

  2. Meditation is more for the mind its a way some people calm themselves down. It doesnt work for everyone but for some it does. I could see it possible to quit smoking using meditation but ive never smoked a day in my life so idk how hard it is to quit lol. and its gonna stay that way

  3. I never got into it even though I tried.   You have to clear your mind and I can't.

  4. Meditation is "Defragging" the mind,

It helps with concentration & raises self confidence and energy levels.

Try to switch off everything (phone, TV, etc.)

    to give it 100%...

  5. Meditation is a powerful tool in self actualized healing; it takes practice, and its great if you begin with a guided imagery CD to begin training your mind. It is not clear what kind of meditation you tried, for how long, or for what type of condition, but meditation can have a positive affect on all aspects of your health and emotions.

  6. try other meditation techniques also , there are a few different types

  7. if u have tried it and nothing has changed ,you gave up to soon ,it's not a magic wand .!!!

meditate on a regular bassis and don't worry about out comes ,just enjoy .once u have the knack of it u can take it further .

u can use meditation to stop smoking .but you will have to do ur part ,again' it's not a magic wand that does every thing for u .you still need to make an effort.
