I'm spending a year in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. I don't want to stand out like a tourist or an american. What are things that people wear in America that they don't in germany? Any advice as to how to fit in or what Germans usually wear for daily clothing?

Bondage Gear, assless chaps, Old n**i uniforms, Prison uniforms, Clothes made out of old plastic bags (very enviromentally friendly), chicken feather coats, hobo costumes and of course wearing nothing at all. WE are a progressive people!
