i seen the same car and same year at two different dealers....one is the actual pontiac dealer by la grange...and the other is a corner dealer lol used cars and what not

but the one from the pontiac dealer is:

2004

30,000 miles

a scratch/dent on the back

2 door

sunroof

"cloth" seats? (dunno what to call it....its not leather soo lol)

and this one is from the cheap dealer...(their asking $11,549 for it...Pontiac dealer didn't have a price so...)

but anyway this car is:

an 04 as well

four door

sunroof

leather seats

34,000 miles

didn't see any scratches or dents...so..

does anyone know if they are asking too much....and what Pontiac dealer would be asking....

ANY information on this car would be great....

thanks

  1. AutoOnInfo.net's detailed reliability and durability studies suggest that a typical 4-year-olf Pontiac is about as troublesome to own as a typical Honda at 33 years of age and a typical Toyota at 24 years of age. And the 5-year Reliability Percentrank average of the Pontiac Grand Am is .14 while the overall 5-year Reliability Percentrank average for the Pontiac line is .24. So ask yourself this question: Would I pay $11,549 for a 50-year-old Honda? If so, go for it.

  2. Go to kbb.com which is kelley blue book used by most auto dealers.  Put all that information in and check the value.  It will also tell you the resale value, retail value, and the trad in value.  But I think you can find one both cheaper than those prices.

  3. First off look in Consumer Reports used car guide. A 2004 Grand Am is rated better than average in reliability. That is about the average price. I also see that Natalia is at it again. Hey Natalia do you have some kind of cut and paste were you just type in the name of the american made car in question, and then just paste the answer that you always use? You should be banned from this site just for getting points for using the same answer all the time. But back to the car. The 2004-2005 Grand am is a very reliable, and dependable car. No matter what the foreign car lovers tell you. I know from having a 2004 Grand am gt, and a 2006 Gto. Not from reading some stupid *** website that looks like a 6year old put together. How can someone say that a 3 year old car is like a 33 year old Honda? Show me a honda on the road that is 33 years old. A coworker had a 2005 Camry with 51,000 miles. She did all the routine maintenance, and at 48,000 she had to have the engine rebuilt. Wow great car! My girlfriend had a 2003 Civic and before 30,000 miles she went through 2oxygen sensor and a wheel bearing. Please push your c**p on a Honda or Toyota forum. There are some people on here that dont fall for all your c**p Natalia. Go drive your ugly slow honda fit to a gm dealer and get a real car.
