  1. Distemper is just as Hidorsa said. It is important that if you want to have a healthy cat and have her live a long life. Get her all her shots and get her spayed. You will be glad you did. An the rewards you will get from her are priceless.

  2. Every cat should get rabies and distemper vaccines. Others aren't really all that iportant for an indoor-only cat, but should be seriously considered for an outdoor or indoor/outdoor cat.

  3. You want to get the FVCRP (a 4-in-one vaccine that includes Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia), the FeLV (Feline Leukemia vaccine), a Rabies vaccine, and deworming.

Feline distemper (Panleukopenia) is included in the FVRCP. You definitely should get it. This virus  primarily attacks the lining of the gastrointestinal tract, causing internal ulceration and, ultimately, total sloughing of the intestinal epithelium, meaning bloody diarrhea, severe dehydration, malnutrition, anemia, and often death; mortality rate is 60-90%.

I also recommend Lyme and Giardia vaccines.
