The front of the coin has an american eagle holding a banner in its mouth that reads 10 ounces .999 fine silver. The eagle is standing on what looks like an earlier version of the american flag and there are some weird symbols at the bottom i cant even begin to describe. The also appears 4 stars to the right of the eagle. On the back, there is only the words TEN OUNCES .999 FINE SILVER along the top and nothing else. There is no picture on the back. I've looked everywhere and can't find anything on this coin.

  1. That is because it is not a coin but just 10oz of .999 silver. It is worth what ever the spot price of silver is at the time you sell it, minus a percentage so the dealer can make a profit. By trying more than one dealer or jeweler you can then take the best offer. If the item is round it is considered a silver round, if oblong a silver bar.

  2. That coin has no numismatic value.  Silver is a little over $17, so it is worth about $170.
