  1. Value is going to be totally dependent on what a collector opines the actual condition to be. Very often, buyer and seller will disagree on the definition of actual condition, which can make a big difference in the actual value of the gun.

Placing an accurate value on collector’s guns in today’s market is very difficult. Gun prices are generally rising, overall, and the Blue Book values are lagging behind the market by at least six months. To get a more realistic view of current prices, check out www.gunbroker.com, www.auctionarms.com, and www.gunsamerica.com to see what’s selling. Keep in mind that what you see there is asking prices, and not actually what the firearms selling for, but it will give you some ideas.

  2. check out gunbroker.com for something similar however, that is a fairly rare gun, it will be hard to find something just like it.

It is a model 23, hard to tell if it is a B, C, or what.  Also, you'll have better luck researching if you look for 32-20 not 32/20

They are handy little rifles, usually going for about $400, but here's the thing, 32-20 is a very outdated cartridge. It is too slow for varmint hunting like the 22 hornet (a different savage 23 chambering) but it isn't powerful enough for deer like a 30-30 (another different savage 23)

why don't you keep it, it is probably a family heirloom.
