  1. 1976-P (Philadelphia) Quarter:

    Almost Uncirculated: .40 Cents

    1976-D (Denver):

    Mint State 60: .60 Cents

    1976-S (San Francisco):

    Almost Uncirculated: $1.25, Proof: $5.00

  2. They minted 809,764,016 of the quarters at the Philadelphia mint (no mint mark) and 860.118,836 at the Denver mint (D). The mintage's were quite high for they minted the 1976 quarter in 1975 also. If you notice there are no 1975 dated quarters, 1/2 dollars or dollars. I find one in change every week or so, maybe a little longer. A lot were saved and since they are worth a quarter are spent from time to time. Even in mint state they sell for a dollar or so, dealers pay way less. It is a historic coin so just hold on to it at least it got you to write a question.

  3. There were a lot of these were saved as a mementos of our 200th anniversary. The value depends on the condition of the coin. If it was saved soon after being issued then it could be worth 40 or 50 cents. If it was only recently taken out of circulation then it is probably only worth face value.
