well the previous answer gave exact, but I found the easiest thing currently remember is to move the decimal point.  So if something says $200.00 pecos, move the decimal point to the left and you get $20 American dollars.

Advice. If you're going to take out or spend a large sum of money, go to an ATM which will give you the exact exchange as noted by the previous answer. This way, you'll get more pecos for your dollar.  We suggest this highly.

Fridays close was $10.42 and the Mexican banks are giving $10.20.

Check with your bank wherever you are as banks give different rates.

These rates are in U.S and Canadian .

I personally do not worry, as a Canadian resident , about the exchange now that our $ is at par as Mexico is such a bargain compared to Canada.
