    yes spices has tons of benefits

    capsicum,ginger,clove,nut meg are aphrodisiac ie sexual tonics for men and anti bacterial

    but take care nut meg is also hallucinogenic in hi dose(ya3ny beye3mel dema3')

    but moderate dose improves the mood

    peppermint,cinnamon,cumen,are anti spasmodic and anti flatulence and spastic colon

    foenugreek

    is energetic and has lots of vitamins

    anise,guava leaves and thyme

    are cough sedative

  5. Some spices are good for health, here is what I know about this subject:

    cinnamon is good for diabetics, it controls blood sugar to a certain extent if one teaspoonful of it is taken with food or as a drink.

    ginger is good for joints, it is anti inflammatory.

    turmeric= korkom is also anti inflammatory.

    cumin is good as deodorant when eaten with food especially if the food has garlic.

    pepper encourages the stomach to produce acids that help in digesting food.

    mint calms down and is good for upset stomach.

    thyme= za3tar is good for cough especially if you prepare a drink of thyme and Annis.

    Annis is good for the nerves, it calms down and can be a nice drink with thyme for coughs.

    karkadaih calms down, lowers blood pressure, and is diuretic.

  8. Yes spices do add additional health benefits. There are too many examples to give right now but I'll cover just a few to give examples: Ginger and cinnamon is excellent to inflammation, salt helps your heart, Cayenne pepper helps your immune system and helps you be happy too and ginger is good for cleansing the blood.  Hope this helps, i use these regularly to help me stay happy, healthy and tasty . :0)
